What is Reddit?

• The platform is organized into communities called subreddits. 

How to Create a Reddit Account

1. Sign up

• Go to Reddit and click Sign Up.
• Create an account with your Google, Apple, or email account.

2. Choose a Username

• Reddit will fill in a username for you.
• Pick your own and a password.

3. Complete the Optional Prompt

• Fill in about your gender identity, or choose Skip.

4. Interests Menu

•  Pick three Interests from the menu.
•  Select Continue.

5. Personalize your home feed

6. Communities

• Choose a few Communities to follow.
• Then you can select Continue.

7. Your Reddit account is ready for use.

 

What to do After signing up to Reddit

• Don’t use auto-submit forms. Just do it manually.
• Do not post spam.
• Use infographics.
• Embed educational and humorous videos.
• Always ask interesting questions.
